Sex in the first trimester?

I've always thought it was fine, but I just read a comment saying otherwise. Mommas, what are your thoughts/what have your doctor's said?

some women cant for health reasons. i have friends who had sex right through the whole thing. like PP said, it's fine unless you're told otherwise by your OB.

I never heard there's anything wrong with having sex anytime in the pregnancy

This ^^ unless there is a medical reason for you NOT to have sex then go for it.

just like pp said, it's fine unless you are on pelvic rest.

I didn't have sex for most of my first trimester because I was just too nauseated - but my OB said it was fine if I felt like it.
