TWW post (week of 10/19 - 10/25)

Hi everyone! This is a two week wait post for anyone who is in or soon will be in the TWW. Tell us your symptoms (no matter how crazy they may be!), how many DPO you are, and when/if you'll test. Good luck everyone!

7dpo, it's killing me. I'm not sure when I'll test. FF thinks I'm only going to have a 10 day LP (I've been on the shorter end as of late, avg is 13 days though). Maybe I'll test Friday. No real "symptoms" per se, but all I wanted to do was sleep yesterday (I slept through the Seahawks game) and my nipples are super sensitive. That's normal pre-AF stuff for me though.

I've intro'd awhile back and a constant lurker but I am reaching out to TB for this 2WW - I am also on T-TTC and Infertility boards...

I am 3dp5dt and plan to test on 10/24. I am so nervous and excited for this cycle. I am on prednisone this cycle and hoping that will be the magic pill that'll help me get pregnant. The 24th is a tad early but I am a pretty regular 25 day cycle so that'll be day 26.

I am really trying not to read into any symptoms. DH and I are currently referring to the babies as Frank Jr. Jr., Chandler and Leslie (those were the names of the triplets Phoebe gave birth to on the show Friends) We transferred 2 frosties and as this was a natural transfer cycle we also tried naturally -- so there could be three. Not that I am being greedy... I would be thrilled with one!! Fx for those in the 2ww.

I'm 6 or 7dpo.  Wishing for 6, so I didn't miss my fertile window.  FF says 7dpo, but the crosshairs changed to dotted lines, so fingers crossed!  My chart had a very strange slow rise around O, which makes things confusing.

4 dpo. No symptoms yet. My LP is 12 days, so I'll try to hold out until after that (but I will break down around 10 dpo).

7dpo here. Timing was decent this month, though my CM has persisted past my O date, giving me dotted CH. Ah well. I'll probably start testing with wondfos on Thursday . . . wheee! No symptoms at all.

9dpo.... AGAIN! Month 6 actively trying, 6 years off pill. Losing steam ladies. Frustrated, irritated.... Making appt with PCM to be referred to RE to check things out. I never wanted it to come to this... As I feel it will cause more stress. I shouldn't call it stress... More sadness than anything.

Not sure how much more I can take.

I should get AF on Wednesday. I was not planning on testing this month until I had actually missed AF, but I caved this morning, my $.10 online hpt was negative, trying to not get obsessive this month the way I have been the last few cycles. Timing was good this month, but I also just ate like a pound of chocolate so there is that......? PMS.

I'm 12dpo, AF was suppose to come on Sunday but I had a colposcopy at the beginning of Septemper that caused my normal 28 day cycle to be late (32 days) - so in probably still within the window of AF possibility. According to FF, I ovulated in CD18, but we BD on CD16 - so I think our timing was off, but they were dotted lines so who knows, maybe inoculated in CD17. I just started chatting this month, so I don't fully understand it. But my temps are still high, had a slight dip yesterday (from 98.8 to 98.5) but it was higher today (97.7). I did feel nauseous over the weekend, but I'm also under a lot of stress at work, so I don't know if that's really a symptom since I feel fine today. I did take one of those cheapy-online brand pregnancy tests yesterday and it came back negative. So I'm thinking I'm just having a longer cycle. I leave for vacation in Thursday, so I hope I have more of an answer by then.

My temp has started dropping before the usual peak this month.  I hoped maybe it was implantation, but it has dropped 3 days in a row, so it appears that I'm out.  I had a really slow temp rise this time, too.  I hope the wonky chart is just from the chemical pregnancy two cycles ago and it will return to normal.  It took two cycles after the d&e to be normal again, but I really thought the chemical wouldn't mess me up like that.  I'm so frustrated and tired of all this.

I'm so late jumping in- I thought this was going to be THE MONTH!  I guess we all have high hopes for that every month but I seriously had done 3 months of that progesterone cream and all those damn herbals causing me to pack on the pounds. BOO! 
Anyway, I assumed we nailed it with timing but I was drinking and not sleeping well and forgetting to temp while on vacation and well - who knows where I am because I never got a high temp.  I was even hospitalized this week for dehydration from getting so sick. EWWW
 Now my temps are low so I'm not going to waste a test.  AF will most likely be here Sunday.  I'll be better about temping next month! 
Somebody get a BFP this month! Please!

@happyktmom - so sorry to hear this! It is incredibly frustrating when you put in so much time, effort, money and hope into thinking something is going to work and then it fails. I'm feeling like that right now with all the big bucks I'm shelling out to my acupuncturist (those herbs are PRICEY!) and it looks like I'm having an anovulatory cycle (no +OPK, no temp rise). I'm so mad! So I understand where you're coming from! I really hope someone gets a BFP soon to cheer us all up!

Thank you @jilligan14 and @CarrieandRoy!  I am on the mend now, but also worried that if by chance I do get a BFP I had radiation from a CT Scan and I'm on 2 horrendous antibiotics.  It is what it is but confessing my crazy thoughts.

Sorry @PattersRN.  Cutting out alcohol was pretty easy for me, diet coke was a little painful, but the caffeine sucked, not going to lie.  Had a headache for a few days.  BUT, I feel great now, so there is a light at the end of the tunnel!!  Good luck!!!

Yeah, I gave up caffeine a few months ago.  I only drank 2 cups of tea a day and it was still hard!!

Sorry you're out @PattersRN.  I'll be joining you with AF any day now.

Today marks day one of my TWW. Already getting the urge to pee on everything even though I know it would be negative no matter what.

@CarrieandRoy caffeine gets easier as time goes by. I have vertigo and had to give up caffeine and smoking at the same time almost 10 years ago. I was a big soda drinker and pack a day smoker. Not sure how anyone in my family refrained from smothering me in my sleep.

@jenniferk08, I'm over the caffeine withdrawal now.  I think it took about a month.

You all are brave giving up the caffeine.  This illness had me caffeine free for 2 days and the headaches are killer!  I can't even remember 4 years ago when I was pregnant with DD giving it up but I did from day 1.  I will definitely go alcohol free, no problem.
@jenniferk08, I too was a smoker (for 17 years) and quitting that had to have been the hardest thing I have ever done.  I am very anti-smoking now.  Cannot stand it!

I managed to do a good job of cutting myself from 4 cups of coffee today to 2 cups. It's not as much the caffeine I crave (maybe except for the first cup), but I love the taste of it. I started keeping a bag of decaf and a French press in my desk at work. Beer is another story, I live in Portland, OR....we love our craft brews!! @happyktmom and @Jenniferk08, giant high 5's for giving up smoking!!!!

Great job quitting smoking ladies!!  I'm sure that was SUPER hard!!  @PattersRN - I reward myself sometimes with a decaf specialty drink at Starbucks because I get it - I just love the taste as well!!  Surprisingly, now that the withdrawal part is done, decaf does just fine.  Sometimes I just crave the taste of coffee in the morning!! YUM!!
