Could something be going wrong

I got a positive test earlier last wk several in fact I took a digital on Friday said pregnant but now I'm sorry if this is tmi I went to go pee and I was having some bright red discharge could I be starting to miscarry and I have been cramping on and off idk what to think I'm kinda panicking a little help

Spotting can be normal and cramping is just your bodies way of making room. If you are still worried then call your OB. Hope this helps and everything is fine :x

It's wise to call your doctor if you have cramping accompanied by bleeding. It could be a miscarriage but it could also be nothing. Your doctor may want to do an ultrasound or run bloodwork.

You need to give your doctor a call if its bright red. Brown spotting is considered normal because the color indicates its old blood likely off the very top of the endometrium. Red indicates new blood from deeper in the endometrium which might indicate something going wrong. Pair that with cramping and you really need to give your doctor a call to see what they say.

I hope all is okay but if it isn't, just know that it isn't your fault. With new tests, women are able to find out they're pregnant so much earlier and we're catching more and more very early loses, usually due to a major chromosomal error that happened during the rapid cell division following fertilization. One report I found said up to 50% of conceptions end in miscarriage within a week of when your period is supposed to begin.

Anyways, like I said, hope all is well.

Update:
Dr said they didn't see anything on ultrasound and that with cramping and bleeding sounds like a miscarriage but isn't going to make a diagnosis til we get back the blood work praying everything goes OK and that I can get over this and move on again this will be my 2nd miscarriage this year

Given how back-and-forth your pregnancy tests went, it sounds like this was a chemical pregnancy.  I'm sorry for the bad news.

That's my thought too, it seems to not have been a particularly stable pregnancy from the outset. I wish you the best of luck, the ladies on the TTGP board were my sanity when I was trying to conceive. Many have experienced losses as well. Having someone else who has gone through the same thing can be very reassuring.

We cannot tell you, hun. You have to wait it out. Fingers crossed that its just minor spotting.
