I'm wondering if there's any exercises I could be doing to prep me for labor? I've been doing Kegals but I'm wondering if I should be doing any other lower body work I.E leg workouts? Yoga? Stretches? Thanks! :-?
At this point I think it's probably better not to start something new so that you're not tired or sore for delivery. Walking is probably the best thing right now.
I've been walking two miles a day since I started maternity leave. I was pretty active at my job and all I do at home is sit around if I'm not making a point to move. It takes me an hour or more to walk that much, but I figure it is good to stay in shape. Walking can help during contractions and labor, too.
