Sudden bleeding stopping?

I had a quite early miscarriage at 5 weeks, it began about 3 days ago. I went to the doctors for some bleeding and then they explained what was happening. This morning when I woke up the bleeding and passing tissue had completely stopped without warning. I never had any brownish discharge or anything, just wondering if any other women experienced this and is it normal? Also sorry if anything was tmi

The annoying thing is every pregnancy/miscarriage is different.  The bleeding may taper off then come back or come in waves.  All is completely normal, as long as it isn't super heavy.  Is your doctor planning to check your HCG?  I had my heaviest days right when my HCG was almost at 0....which I thought was interesting.  After that...there was nothing.

I am going through a similar scenario. I stopped birth control (NuvaRing) in June.. fairly normal periods after even though I have a history of endometriosis and long cycles. I started bleeding September 24th and thought it was my period ( was the exact day I was supposed to start). When it hadn't stopped after 2 weeks, I called by doctor and the nurse said to take a pregnancy test. Sure enough, it was positive.. my hcg levels were tested on Wednesday Oct 7 and again on Friday and had fallen from 286 to 255. Nurse said I was about 5 weeks.. but I had been bleeding for 2 weeks prior to that.. so idk.. Here we are October 19th and I am still bleeding. It is so weird. It comes in waves and most of it is in the mornings when I first get up. I went through a week or so of mostly brownish blood and now its bright red again. Like I said, it tappers off for a few days then comes back in full force. By 4 or 5 oclock each day I don't even have to wear a pad. I just want to know when this will be over! everything I have read says 2 weeks of bleeding, tops! This has been going on for almost a month and I feel so drained emotionally and physically. My nurse doesn't seem to be alarmed so I guess I am ok.
