One final date.

I'm scheduled to be induced tomorrow. Hubby and I are going to an early dinner and going to see Jurassic World after. I'm hoping there will be enough parts of the movie to make me jump so I go into labor on my own LOL. But it will be nice to spend one last evening together before our little boy shows his handsome face. What did you do for a final outing?

Hoping for at least 1 more date, maybe 2. Just depends on when this one decides they are done cooking. Also dependent on a babysitter for the 2 big sisters. Lol

I went to watch David Hasselhoff in a musical last night, most surreal thing ever. It was so bad it was brilliant. I don't know if it'll be our last outing before labour, but it could be. I was hoping my waters would break during just so I could ask the Hoff to deliver my baby.

DH and I have been doing more family outings in the last few weeks with DD to soak up all of the time we have with just her. While I know we could use a date, too, the family time has felt really good for both of us! We've done football games, dinner dates, apple orchards, farm visits, and today a pumpkin patch. We're very fortunate to have a totally easy-going and well mannered 2-year-old who can pretty much go anywhere without being disruptive to anyone else, so the dinner dates have been extra enjoyable!

Our anniversary was last weekend so my mom watched DS. I took Friday off and met up with DH for a lunchtime movie, saw The Martian. Then checked into a fancy hotel, went to a fancy dinner, and had an awesome breakfast on Sat. Then back to the real world! It was great, and it had been awhile since we'd had a date, so much needed. Otherwise, we're just spending as much time with DS as we can before we become a family of 4.

Anniversary weekend was the big hurdle. I just wanted to make it to that, now she can come whenever she's ready!

We also did dinner (Longhorn) and a movie (The Martian). The movie was excellent, but movie theatre seats are not comfy at 37 weeks.

We've done a movie at one of those places where the seats recline and they have food and drink service. It's been very comfy! We keep thinking we have one more date night but baby isn't here so we keep planning more. First we did a movie and a pottery painting studio, then just a movie the next weekend.

It's restaurant week in our city so I booked us one last date at The Melting Pot for Thursday- if I make it! I'll be induced Sunday so there's really no more time for dates and I think next weekend I just want to take it easy!
