Bruise from leg cramp?

I know it sounds absolutely crazy but last night I woke up with a terrible leg cramp in my left calf. Sitting in the tub tonight I realized I now have a bruise right where the cramp was, and it is sore to the touch. Any one every have this? Maybe just a random coincidence? I'm not panicked or anything over it just trying to figure it out lol

Visible bruise or just still very sore? I have had a leg cramp once or twice and it left my leg very, very sore. No visible bruise though.

I would get that checked out. It could be a clot or it could just be a coincidence that it's in the same area. However if it's a clot you don't want to let it go.

It's a visible bruise. My SO just got home from work and I was telling him about it and he told me I've had that bruise for a few days now. Guess he pays more attention to my legs than I do lol. The muscle is definitely tender but it's good to know that I already had that bruise.

Eat some bananas and that should take care of the cramps. Glad you got an answer though!!

@NathanheartsKim thank you! I always forget about Bananas. I've been stuck on apples for a few days now lol. Back to bananas it is lol

I've noticed I get more leg cramps when I don't drink enough water throughout the day.

That's a good point! I'be been getting horrible heartburn from water so I've been trying to get enough but it's hard. That probably has a lot to do with it too

No bruise but I commiserate... I hate leg cramps! After the last one I got, my calf was sore for 6 days. Any time I would be off my leg for more than 10 minutes, it would get so tight and achy. When I got back up again, I had to stretch it out before I was able to walk without a limp.

@koriemo it's terrible. Both my calves are super achy and I'm not sure if it's from the cramps or from working on my feet. I've been off my feet almost all of the day today and it's still not gone.
