false labor!

Last evening I saw brown blood on the toilet and my underwear was stained slightly so I went to the hospital and was admitted until this morning at 7am. I guess that was my bloody show and I dialeted 3cm while in the hospital but then it started to slow down with little progress. As the contractions started fading away from every 2 minutes to 4 or 5 and the pain began to become more tolerable the doctor mentioned it was false labor and I should wait until my water breaks, contractions get very bad, or if I'm bleeding heavier. I am home now and contractions are very far apart with small pain. I cannot sleep since I have so much anxiety. I don't know when this baby will come but as the doctor said it can be hours or days. I'm so nervous. Has anyone experienced this before? ?

Yes. I had some thing. I had my bloody show thursday during the day and then intensifying contractions all evening and night. By Friday morning they were 4-5 minutes apart but then just kind of stopped. I thought for sure it was time. ItS such an emotional roller coaster!

Isn't it?! My DD was 10/31 but i dont think ill last that long. I'm going to try and get rest now. Any day anything could happen. .

I had brown blood yesterday after I had my internal check...I wasn't dilated at all. My doc said it was normal and to come back in if it got heavy or turned red...I've been noticing more Braxton hicks but nothing closer together. I'm just not sure what to feel etc. so I'm sure I'll be in and out of the hospital mutiple times before the real deal!

it sounds like we're all going through the same thing right now. I feel better knowing I'm not the only one. Keep hanging in there, this will be over soon!
