And does anyone else's baby spastically move his/her arms and legs all at once, with a super serious face on? Like you're not sure if baby is having a brain storm or is the next Michael Jackson?!
Here's a thread where you can post weird stuff your LO does and maybe find out... It's not so weird after all.
I'll start.
Does anyone else's baby slam their legs up and down all the time? (Like, violently.)
Yup! When she does if we say that she's "whale tailing" because it reminds us of a whale slapping its tail on the water.
She used to do this up until recently. She would take like 3-4 quick deep breaths almost like she was hyperventilating and then screech at the top of her lungs. Was definitely funny. She hasn't done it in a few days when it's usually an every day occurance.

Does anybody's baby repeatedly suck in their bottom lip all of a sudden? If they do, do you think it's related to teething or just a new discovery of muscle control in the lips?
My LO already has two lower teeth, and does all sorts of new funny mouth things.. But it sounds like yours just discovered new and fun. Like mine he will start grunting which of course concerned me, and then he follows up the disturbing noise with a big laugh.. And now he does it all the time, weirdo

My LO started doing that about 2 weeks ago! DH thinks it's a sign of teething. I'm not sure, but it did coincide with her first tooth arriving!
Mine has discovered that he can lift his foot high in the air while sitting in his car seat. Only the right foot. He's constantly popping it up there. Also he's a pro at rolling over, but only to the right...my zoolander baby
Oh man my baby does all of these the sparatuc movement the random leg lift the slamming the feet down and the lip thing. No growling though at least not yet. Does anyone else baby like throw the pacifier?? Mine has started flinging it out of her mouth..
My baby throws her pacifier, but not in her mouth, out of her crib. She refuses the pacifier over her thumb and I consistently find her pacifier on the floor after being in her crib.
My LO bites his lower lip too, he was doing it lots when he first found his tongue and was chewing that too.
When LO is super excited about something he makes this face, holds his breath and stiffens his body... then kicks like crazy! Lol it's so funny! And weird. I love it.
She always come home without them from daycare and DH gets annoyed at the daycare lady, but I don't think it's her fault!
I had LO in a bouncy seat while I did dishes today. I looked down for 2 minutes while washing them and looked back up to find no socks, one up by her head (?) and the other 8 inches away on the ground.
She also kicked off the very tight ankle bracelets in the hospital and they freaked out and worried she'd somehow get stolen.
Mine has started grabbing at my and my husbands faces sometimes when we put her to sleep. She swats and grabs at my mouth, chin and nose with a really curious/serious look on her face. It's okay until her nails get involved..haha My husband was holding her while we were at Lowes yesterday and she fell asleep stroking his beard stubble hahaha..
Also, she just learned how to do raspberries and when she starts getting fussy she whines and does a raspberry lol. It's so funny and kinda hard to take her cute little raspberry whine seriously haha

Mine does the same. I love it.
She also does the raspberry whine and I think it's more talking than whining.
Does anyone else's LO drape their arm over their eyes when eating? She does it every feed. It's very dramatic lol. She also does it when she's trying to sleep.
@ashleymc09 my LO is also grabbing at our faces all day now too. Fingers in our eyes, nose or mouth at all times. And he sometimes puts a hand on each cheek and then pulls his open mouth forward covering you in big sloppy kisses. I love it.
It reminds me of a quote I read online from a co sleeping mom, she said 'I would rather wake up with a finger in my nose, than a crying baby down the hall'. It made me laugh.
Lol I get the big wet sloppy kisses daily. It's really weird when her tongue comes out during the kiss or she starts sucking! I'm so afraid she's going to give me a huge hickey on my cheek!
LO has discovered bouncing and jumping. He doesn't like sit, he wants to stand and jump. We do the lift part when he pushes his legs. He laughs so hard while doing it. Melts my heart every time.
@cait7425 yes, I get the arm over the eyes while feeding. Its like everything is so tragic.
And my little dude likes to open his mouth and turn towards you when you're going in for a kiss on his cheek. So you end up planting your kiss half on his cheek and half into his mouth. It weirds me out a little.
She is squeaking out of control these days. It's so cute. Once she realized she could do it at the top of her lungs she just squeaks and squeaks and squeaks. Talk to me in a few weeks but for now I love it. Finding her cute little voice :x

Anyone else's LO hate their swing now? Mine tries to escape every time I put her in now. She cries when I buckle her in. She also hates her bouncer chair now too! She used to love them.
My LO loves to poop when she's in her swing. It's like her trigger. I'm assuming it relaxes her and she lets it all go. She also likes to either hold her ear while she eats or kneed at my breast (reminds me of a kitten trying to get milk). The last few weeks she was into growling, but this week she's discovered how to gargle. So cute.
@Sjeff0816 my LO attempts to wiggle out of all his chairs or swings now if not buckled in! He arches his back and straightens his legs, lifting everything between his shoulders and feet into the air, then drops and does this until he's wiggled out. I guess I should have added that as being something weird he does?! Haha
He isn't upset, at least I don't think, I think he's just doing it because he can. Silly babe
Mine also loves to try to get out of her car seat. She leans forward like she's trying to help you get her out. Sometimes I'm like sorry sweetie you're staying in right now. She just wants to be out and playing!

@virginiaunicorn11 LO does this when she gets excited. It's like she can't contain her emotions so she wiggles everything she can in glee.

What do all your babies do that you wonder if others do?

This kid. Does not like stuff on her feet!
