Creepy 3d ultrasound?!?

So I had my 3rd trimester ultrasound and my son was very annoyed with being disturbed lol the tech only snapped one photo of his face before he rolled over towards my back but the photo is kinda creepy. I wish I didn't get a 3d one because I don't like imagining my son looking all demonic. During my second trimester they got a perfect view of his face so I know it's normal but still I can't help but wonder if this has happened to anyone else??

Yes. I thought the same thing when we had ares done during a growth scan. Dont worry they are much cuter when they came out.

Sort of, I just had my 34 week ultrasound and no clear face picture was able to be taken. They printed 2 but you can't tell what's what...kind of annoyed but I k iw she's healthy. Sucks bc i got one of those 3 trimester picture frames and I have nothing for the last frame...sigh.

Ive had monthly US and have gotten 3d pix almost everytime. During one of the early ones she looked like something from The Mummy movie! It was much better the next time. But it was creepy.

My 28 week ultrasound has perfect pictures, while my 32 week was weird, because my OB just zoomed into his eyelash to show us and I couldn't really make out anything else. She didn't take a picture of that one. Sometimes there is a lot going on around them that you just can't see as crystal clear.

On my 20 week scan, she looked like Iron Man, no joke! On the last one, she had a bubble by her face so she looked deformed. I saw her on the screen so I know it was a fluke but no good photos here either

Haha okay good I asked a few other people and they did say it was hard to make out certain features I also bought a frame for 1st 2nd and 3rd and the third one he just looks so pissed!! I guess it's something we can all look back on and laugh at lol

He def has an angry face but I can see he has daddy's nose for sure!

UO but I've always hated ultrasound pictures. They all look strange. I had my last growth u/s yesterday and the tech was apologizing for no good pics. Don't care, will meet them soon anyway.

Yes i feel the same way here is my princess in 3D at 33 weeks the tech said she couldn't get a great picture because she's already big and squished the whole time her hand was on her face , but I can't wait to meet my baby girl

This is the best view I got of my son's face last week. He wouldn't roll over. His 20week photos were much cuter. This one makes his nose look like Count Dracula.

I've only loved one or two of the U/S photos we've had. I'm never a fan of the 20 week face shots, just because the eyes always creep me out. Most of the 3D ones I've seen are like the one above, cute and not demonic, I personally think the 2D look creepier, especially in the 1st/2nd tri.

Haha I love seeing all your ultrasounds OMG I wish I still had the 2d one he literally looked like a demonic skeleton it was even creepier than the 3d.

I always thought 3D shots were creepy as heck, even if you had the ones around 32w.  It didn't change with my own child, haha.  We didn't even get a 3D at our 33w because he's head down, face towards my back. There's only two pictures, both of which are regular shots, but you can see his teeth and it is.. creepy.  Guess we'll just have to wait for him to come out!

I would love to see if anyone has had 3D ultrasound at 36 weeks? To get a 3D ultrasound it was over an hour drive and only open in my work hrs. This is my last week (36 wks) so finally have a chance to get a 3D ultrasound next week but wondering if there will be good pictures or will he be too squished in there?

My LO was too squished last time at 34 weeks. I would almost recommend not wasting your money.

I'm 36 weeks and had an u/s today, while it wasn't 3D, my LO was completely cramped. We barely got to see his little face. With being this far along, I would save your money, in 4 weeks or less you'll be seeing the real deal (and better deal!)

Thanks ladies, I have always been that person that needs a sneak peak at a present before XMAS haha. Ill hold off and use that money elsewhere. x
