Normal for increased movements at 32+1??

Hi ladies

I'm currently 32 weeks and one day and today my LG has been moving a lot more than normal. I know you shouldn't but I Googled it and well you can imagine... Should I ring the labour ward for advise or is it normal I'm worrying but don't want to been seen as silly. Thanks in advance

I've never heard of increased movement being an issue, but if you're truly concerned it doesn't hurt to ring your doctor.

Not an issue. Baby is just having an active day, enjoy it!

The only time increased movement is an issue is if it's completely out of the ordinary. Meaning a major (significant) increase in movement that you've never felt before. If this is the case then yes, call L&D and see what they recommend.

For those who don't know why significant increase in movement can be a bad sign, it's because it *can* be an indicator of baby struggling because the cord is wrapped around its neck. THIS IS NOT COMMON. And I'm not by any means saying that you should freak out on days your baby decided to be more active.

Thanks ladies! I ended up ringing the hospital and going for monitoring. They said she was just being active in the end but was good to get checked as it can mean other things too such as cMichelle has wrote x
