3rd Medicated Month Trying

Hello everyone! Still very new to this.. We stopped using BC in January of 2015 and by August when nothing had happened with me tracking we went to my obgyn. He has an infertility specialist in office so we began with her. First month was ultrasounds a few times and Clomid 50mg. Second month was Clomid 100, Ovidrel injection, Estrogen patch and Progesterone suppositories. She said if I have not gotten a positive by Sunday morning.. stop the progesterone so my cycle will start. I've been testing since Monday.. and negative. Tomorrow will be 14DPO. My cycles are normally right at 28 days. So.. I will begin a new cycle as soon as my body decides to begin. I have had my mini meltdown mid week when I came to terms this was not the month. I admire so many of you that have gone through this for years... You are very strong!

I can't see a signature (if you have one).  Was there a history of IF or AMA so that you started seeing the specialist/treatments after 7 months of TTC?  Any change in the protocol after these first two were unsuccessful?  Hope you can come up with a plan that works and don't have to be here long.

I dont know what the plan is right now.. I have to wait for my cycle to start. 

No history of IF.. he said said due to my Progesterone being low 7 days after my LH surge I would probably need some assistance.That was in August.

This  month however my 7 day blood draw after LH surge.. it went from 3.1 to 13.2. Started Prometrium supps to take till this weekend.

Also this past ultrasound the day we did my trigger showed 3 mature follicles. At that time they put an Estrogen patch on due to my lining being thin.

i think you might be better suited on the TTCAS board. this board is typically women with diagnosed IF who have been trying 1+ years who are doing IUI and IVFs... you might find more women in your boat over there. GL.

Hope you have a short journey TTC now that you are working with the specialist.  Make sure you advocate for yourself and ask lots of questions.  Also don't let them just keep throwing Clomid at you, there is a lifetime limit.  I'm glad they seem to be monitoring you at least!  GL!

Are you seeing an RE or a OB who says they specialize with infertility? If you are not with a RE I highly recommend switching to one. I some OBs say they do fertility, but really the REs are the true specialists. I had low progesterone after clomid as well until they upped my dose. I was told it was very unlikely to get pregnant with it being that low. Even at a higher dose it wasn't great. Finally they added an FSH shot on CD 10 that really helped. I also one cycle did FSH shots from CD6-10 and that really got my progesterone where I needed it. I hope that your TTC journey is short and you find a plan that works. Any idea of what they might do this next cycle?

I think you are in the right place as you are doing IF treatments for low progesterone.
