lightening crotch at 4 weeks

hi everyone!

I am 4w 2d and have been having this odd pulling/twinge/sharp pain low in my vagina. Through my searching apparent there is something called lighting crotch. Is this something that happens this early? Has anyone else felt this feeling? I am also getting on and off period feeling cramps but those seemed to have faded, this sharper pain overstayed its welcome for most of yesterday and still happening today.

Mmm maybe? I'm trying to remember when lightning crotch started for me last time. I know it was early I just can't remember how early. It's possible though. And some cramping is normal, there's a lot of stretching and adjusting going on down there. As long as it isn't accompanied by heavy bleeding and it's not very intense and only on one side I wouldn't worry too much.

thanks! this is pretty uncomfortable but manageable. the normal cramping has been on and off but pretty mild. tmi...but I sort of feel like my crotch is going to burst : /

I had killer lightening crotch with my first but wasn't until at least second tri. I think it's common to have those symptoms a lot sooner with second+ pregnancies

I have had the sensation once or twice now (I'm on my 3rd child) but I feel like it's too early. Maybe it's practice lightening crotch!? Like Braxton hicks for your vag )
