Reverse Morning Sickness

I'm 7 weeks and have had horrible naesea but no vomiting instead it's accompanied by diarrhea and last all day. I've tried the BRAT diet and switch my prenatals but nothing seems to give. Anyone else having or had this problem and if so what worked for you? I've lost 9lbs since I was 4 weeks and don't want to do any rx meds if I can avoid it.

Re: Reverse Morning Sickness

  • There are numerous threads on these types of symptoms. In addition, there is a weekly symptom thread on the front page of this board. I'm sorry you are dealing with these issues; if you go through some of those threads, you'll likely be able to find not only answers, but other women who are dealing with the same thing.

I would check the ingredients on your prenatal, too. I was using one of the Nature Made ones and it has an ingredient in it to help with constipation, but it gave me diarrhea. I switched brands and it got better. Maybe try researching it, it could be one of your problems!

Edit: just realized you said you already switched. I'm dumb.
  • I have the exact same problem. I've been eating more rice and bananas. good luck'
  • Ugh! Me too. I'm trying to pinpoint what the problem is. It's no fun.

  • So far a bowl of plain oatmeal has eased the looseness but not the frequency ... something is better than nothing I guess. Talked to my midwife and was told it's just an unpleasant part of being pregnant.
