OPK tests

When does everyone take their OPK tests? I usually test in the morning but I've read you're not supposed to...after 19 months of trying I wonder if it would be better to test in the midday. However that is probably not going to change when I baby dance lol

My clear blue digital one says to use FMU.  But I've heard you should wait later in the day with the strips

I would test 3-4 times a day and still never catch a surge.  The "books" say between 10-2.
