Tmi - Yeast infections

Hey ladies. This is my first pregnant I am 6 weeks 6 days; went to the hospital last night to find out I have a yeast infection. Is this common among pregnancy??

I had one with my first pregnancy maybe around 6 weeks.

I had two when I was pregnant with DS and another one about 3 weeks pp. Luckily it's an easy fix! They just give you a pill and that's it. Sometimes 2 and you take them 5 days apart.

I'm 7 weeks today and got a yeast infection a couple days ago. I've never had one and they are miserable. My dr said to use Monistat 7 and luckily I'm feeling better. They are more common during pregnancy with all the hormonal changes it can cause and inbalance. I never got one when I was pregnanct with my son so I'm hoping maybe it's a girl haha! Hope you feel better

I've heard it's really common. I had to insert cream into my lady parts to treat it with my last pregnancy

Thanks ladies I sat in emerg for 4 and a half hrs to find this out! I knew it was yeast I called tella health to ask if I could use canestan and they freaked me out so I went in.
