Hocus Pocus is definitely number one here as well. Hmm what else... The Ring Addams Family Casper Edward Scissorhands Sleepy Hallow Pet Cemetary Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Halloween, House of 1000 corpses, adams family, edward scissorhand and of course the nightmare before Christmas. Actually really any Tim Burton Halloween movie.
Love all the Halloween specials that they show, especially the cheesy Disney ones.
I love too many horror movies to name but around Halloween I can't but re-watch
Hocus Pocus Sleepy Hollow Practical Magic Scream The Ring The Conjuring Nightmare on Elm Street Hellraiser Witches of Eastwick The Shining and I could go on and on
My all time favorite Halloween movie is The Worst Witch. If you've never seen it, do yourself a favor and find it, it's so awesome. Tim Curry plays a flying, singing, grand warlock...
Scary movie-wise, my usual choice are slasher films, the cheesier the better... Friday the 13th, My Bloody Valentine, Scream, Evil Dead (the remake was pretty damn good). Right now, though, I've noticed that disturbing or gory or scary things really stick with me and I can't shake the images for a day or more, so I'm avoiding the scary stuff till after baby arrives...
I really like Halloweentown. Yes, disney movie. But cheestastic and great.
Paranormal Activity never did it for me.
How can a paranormal movie with "real footage" have an alternative ending? Yup I call bullshit.. And they aren't scary anyway!!! Disneys Halloween movies for the win every time!!! And I really like how Netflix has a few good scary movies on it now.. My brother and I use to stay up late watching a bunch of different ones to find good scary movies on Netflix.. I think The Shrine is still on Netflix and it's not bad.. But the Addams Family has always been a favorite of mine!! And Casper!!
Has anyone heard of the newer German scary movie "Goodnight Mommy"? Heard it's super scary but can't get anyone to watch it cause it has subtitles -___-
Hmm... Seconding The Nightmare Before Xmas, Hocus Pocus, The Addams Family, and The Shining.
Adding Alien and Jaws for horror/suspense. I really enjoy a good horror movie, but I can't do flat out gore for the sake of gore. Which unfortunately Hollywood has decided that horror=gore recently.

I have heard of it, it sounds very creepy and I'll probably catch it eventually!
The original Halloween is my favorite horror movie of all time. Also, while they're not exactly movies, I don't feel like it's Halloween until I've seen the Halloween episodes of Roseanne.
Re: NBR: What's Your Favorite Halloween Movies?
Halloween,
Halloween town ,
The conjuring
The Ring
Addams Family
Casper
Edward Scissorhands
Sleepy Hallow
Pet Cemetary
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
I'm for sure a horror movie type girl. Michael Meyers is probably my favorite Halloween character.
But my all time favorite movie is practical magic which they tend to play a lot more around Halloween so I'm most excited for that!

Edit: words are apparently hard.
The Nightmare before Christmas
The Addams family
I can't wait to start watching my favorites!!!
I actually prefer the book of Rosemary's Baby.
