Just had my 6 week appointment!

Last night I went to the ER because I had some bright red blood after I wiped. It stopped after 3 wipes and it was gone. I still wanted to go to the hospital and get it checked out. 8 hours later of seriously waiting in the slowest hospital, it finds out everything is okay! I am healthy and my little baby is healthy too. I'm 6 weeks and 3 days and I got to see him on the ultrasound. I already had today's appointment made for my check up and I went. The appointment just consisted of family history questions and such. My next appointment isn't until November 23rd! 6 weeks away and it feels so far away. The midwife said that it will be a pretty extensive visit at 12 weeks. Oh boy! word of advice: if you have bleeding, go get it checked it out for your sake and for your baby! Now how in the world am I going to wait 6 weeks?!?

I'm glad everything turned out alright but slight bleeding is common, even in early pregnancy. A call to an after hours line is always the way to go for something like this.

Okay, sorry. This is my first pregnancy and I had some severe spotting this week after talking with mr Dr. First. Ignore my advice then! I guess I'm just a worrier!
