methadone & preg...

Hi.. today I am 6w 4d and last night I went to the ER because of severe cramping. .. I had an ultrasound and they told me the fetal heart rate was low. It was 126 when it should be around 150. The nurse told me it might be low due to methadone... I am not sure!! Any preg ladies on methadone ?? Can u give me some info... plz .I am on 90 MG btw... Thank u

    According to that article, a normal FHR is 120-160 (and it even says that 110 can be normal at such an early gestation), and is not considered low (fetal brachycardia) unless it is under 100. I would check with your regular OB, sometimes the ER docs and nurses, as wonderful as they are, can alarm you unnecessarily since they don't know your history as thoroughly as your OB.
