Gassy formula fed baby

Has anyone else dealt with an extremely gassy LO? He's formula fed and so far we have tried Gentlease, Similac sensitive, and soy. Soy made him terribly constipated but helped with the gas. We have also tried gas drops. Poor little guy is miserable and I'm out of ideas. Any suggestions?

I had this issue as well. I started on good start gentle but he was extremely gassy. I went to Gentlease and he wasn't as gassy. About 2 weeks ago, he decided he no longer wanted to eat the Gentlease formula so we are using AR and he's still a little gassy but not too bad. He's not had any issues passing gas or pooping.

You may have to just go down the line of formula at the store until you find one that's best for LO. That's pretty much what I was doing. It just so happened that the next one I tried worked.

You can also try calling your ped and see if they can get you samples of different formulas to try, that way you're not spending a ton of your own money on trial and error.

What @SnarkasaurusRex said! Or you could shoot an email to formula companies and ask for samples and/or coupons.
