Stitches!

I had two stitches from some minor tearing. I was told they would dissolve but I am over 4 weeks pp now (baby was early!) and they are still there! I have an appointment in a week so if anything they can get snipped then, but honestly they are the most annoying part of recovery! Anyone else have to have them cut because they wouldn't dissolve?

My dr said it could take up to 6 weeks to dissolve. I agree that they are by far the worst part of recovery though. I hate them!!!

Mine are feeling pretty healed at a week out, but I looked today and there's a piece that looks like it didn't get stitched or something and it kinda hanging by a thread (of skin). Eek. Have an appt Tuesday to check it. Didn't want to end up at my 6 week checkup and have to get another stitch or something and start the healing all over again...

Mine appear dissolved because I don't feel them and I could before. I'm 11 days pp but I'm not 100% sure because I could never see them.

Im 5 days post baby and something stings so bad when I pee. This just started last night and on top of the rest of the recovery I want to cry everytime Im in the bathroom. Had them checked out today and they are fine. Wth. Why fine for a few days then all of a sudden stinging...
