Has anyone missed a FSH injection?

There was an issue with the pen and it didn't expell the dose. I didn't notice until I did my injection today. Has this happened to anyone else if so what affect did it have. I am on day 4 of injections and set to do U/S and BW tmrw am. Any info would be appreciated

I don't think you should double the dose. I believe I read that somewhere: never to double a missed dose. I think you just need to take today's dose as if nothing happened. Luckily, you are going to see your doctor tomorrow. I would be sure to tell your nurse when you get there. I have no experience with it, but I think it will be okay. I think your doctor needs to know because if you haven't responded as well as expected, that may be why. Or, maybe you are responding super well and your doc needs to know you missed a dose to ensure any proper adjustments are done. Take some deep breaths. You can't do anything about it now, but I really think everything will be fine. I guarantee this has happened to someone else and likely one if your REs prior patients. Just make sure that the pen goes down to 0 for future injections. Please let me know how everything goes with your appointment tomorrow.

I think the instructions that came with the pen have a paragraph on "what to do if you miss a dose". I have follistim and gonal-f directions, so let me know if you need me to pull either of this and check for you.

Everything seemed to go well. I was told because it is early in my cycle it will be ok. I was a little disappointed because I only have 5 follicles that they measured but there are several smaller ones as well. I was really hoping that there would have been more. Hopefully some of the smaller ones will mature enough:)

@saleana I'm glad your doctor confirmed everything is okay. yes, hopefully those smaller ones will catch up and the 5 you have will continue developing nicely!
