Re: stretch marks

  • What the PP said. I didn't find anything that helped when I was PG the first time I just had to accept them. :(

  • Nothing will prevent stretch marks, sorry!

Use whatever lotions, creams, etc you would like to keep your skin moisturized and not so dry, keep hydrated well to help with elasticity.

The only contributing factor to getting or not getting stretch marks is genetics.

    Unfortunately, this^^.
  • It's genetics. Stay hydrated and it might help the severity
  • Stay hydrated and try jergens with elastin.
  • Thank you! I guess a lil extra moisturizer want hurt either way :)
  • Once you get them moisturizing can help "reduce" there appearance, I've already managed to get some, (lucky me) and I use bio oil. You can also get them laser removed if you have the money after the baby is born.
  • Iv been using bio oil literally since the day I got a positive test. Luckily I've none yet (fingers crossed) but I'm only 25 weeks so I'm sure they could still appear. Touch wood they don't
  • Lots of water, and I've been using moisturiser and bio oil mixed together. I think it's the luck of the draw...
  • Have a healthy diet with plenty of water....also my doctor said exercise of some sort daily helps the skin stretch as well. I've been doing all 3 and went from an A to a D bra already ( I been told your boobs and butt get marks first) and 23weeks in on my pregnancy no marks yet (: and I use my daily lotion before pregnancy still from bath and body works ....
