Bfp!?

Ok I got my first bfp today. First ever! So of course I took 2 more....all bfp's! I'm excited but then of course I get online and read about a bunch of ppl getting false positives....now I'm worried. I'm hoping this is in my head DH and I have been ttc for a year, so we are very excited. Should I restrain from excitement until I get a blood test?

It is extremely uncommon to get a false positive especially when you test 3 times and all are a bfp. Congrats!!

False positives are very rare- and certainly not three of them! You're pregnant, congrats!!

Don't drive yourself crazy. I also just confirmed by BFP today and I'm still in shock and it's so so so exciting! I can understand your excitement and subsequent fear.

I'm with PPs - false positives are really uncommon. Congrats, and welcome!

A line is a line. If you took the test correctly, and you see a second line, then your eggo is preggo Enjoy the moment and don't over analyze it.

Congrats! Like others have said, enjoy it. You have a lot more time to worry and freak yourself out. Give yourself some time to be excited and enjoy it.

Most folks that get pregnant, stay pregnant! Congratulations!

If you want to be informed about the risk of miscarriage, Dr Google says it's very unlikely (less than 10%) for 30 years old and under and doesn't become likely (over 50%) until 44 years old. So if you are 22, be excited! If you are 45, be cautiously optimistic.

Thanks guys! It's starting to sink in and I'm getting excited. ....except for not feeling well haha but it's all good and worth it! Congrats to the other mommies to be! I think I'm going to like this group a lot! I used to be on the ttc board but quickly got off (a lot of ppl were pretty rude) so I'm excited about how welcoming everyone is here now!
