First trip to the ER

Had such a rough night and scary morning. LO woke up in the middle of the night crying and wouldn't stop all I could get her to do was a light sleep but she cried if I barely moved! She had a look of pain on her face and started to run a 100.3 fever. Went to the ER and poor thing has ear infections! She's feeling better now but it was so scary! Hope no other mommies are dealing with the same thing

Aw, I know how ear infections can affect LO's! My 8 YO had chronic ones. I hope LO got some meds so you can both get some rest!

Just out of curiosity, how do they get ear infections.

Fluid builds up in the inner ear, which gives bacteria a nice, warm place to grow and causes an infection.

Makes sense. I knew they could get it from water or breastmilk/formula, but didn't know if there were any other obvious ways. Thanks for the answer!

She's been congested for over a week so that caused it, to make things worse I have a fever and I'm throwing up, it just a mess over here

Must be something in the air!! We have the same thing going on over here! We went to ped after hours Thursday for an ear infection but now my hubby and I are sick as well!! Hope y'all feel better soon!
