Is anyone else having to seek ivf treatment financing outside of your insurance. I live in a state that doesn't offer it and I'm not sure what companies are reputable for filling out my personal info, online. Please help
Ivf abroad requires relocating and/or extended vacation which most jobs don't smile upon. Or doesn't have offices to relocate to. I don't know if adding moving expenses to an already expensive process is the right steps.
@lilmamapanther I went through First Steps to get a discount on some of my meds for IVF. I filled out personal info and sent in a copy of last year's tax return. Got the email this morning that I got $700 off my Follistim!! Every little bit helps so try to find companies that will work with the pharmacy on med pricing
I know of a few people that went outside of their home country for IVF. None of them had to relocate. It is doable and a huge reduction in costs of you are 100% OOP. Some times some ultrasounds can be done locally to cut down on town abroad. If finances are a huge issue its worth looking into for sure
In Las Vegas right now there is a radio station "giving away a free baby" they say. They partnered with Red Rock Fertility to give away one free round of IVF. Even if that first round doesn't work you could possibly have frozen embryos to use and wouldn't need to pay for the stims. The radio station is 93.1 in Las Vegas. You just enter on their website https://www.931theparty.com/contests/win-a-baby/410017
Great opportunity for anyone in the area or anyone willing to travel. Of course I heard about it after we had already paid our clinic lol. FX for you!
I work for a Catholic based company and my insurance does not cover any IVF procedures or meds so DH and I got a loan through CapeXMD and The First Steps Program to get discounts on prescriptions. Start with your RE's office to get pointed in the right direction.
