Check your local resale sites especially on fb. And remember you don't need 2 of everything as some babies don't like the same things like swings and stuff. However there is a list on one of the baby sites just for twins.sorry if that's super vague.
I am!! We are due May 13th - I bought the book "baby bargains" which has been very helpful and given me alot of insight into what to buy and how to get a great deal on all nursery/baby stuff- it isn't geared toward multiples but a REALLY informative book
We have almost 2 year old twins and are expecting our 3rd baby in May! First, twins are the absolute best! The first year is rough but you will get through it. I loved our rock n plays - they were easy to move from room to trim and was perfect for one of our boys who had a milk allergy and spit up a lot. For the first month I had 1 co-sleeper next to our bed that the boys shared. You will obviously need 2 cribs - I didn't let the boys sleep in the same crib as I was overly paranoid about suffocation I have a changing table in the office on the first floor and I keep some clothes there too so I'm not up and down the stairs all day. Baby gates are a must I loved my moby wrap when the boys were very small so I could snuggle them both. Feeding was the hardest part for us - my milk never fully came in so I was pumping constantly for 8 weeks until I just couldn't take it anymore and switched to formula. It's a little tricky getting the bottle feeding down when feeding them at the same time - I found a few positions that worked though and for the most part it was pretty smooth. Keeping to a schedule is key and if 1 baby wakes at night wake the other and feed both of them - otherwise you will be up all night every night. And I think the best advice I got (which I was skeptical to take but thank god I did) was once a baby sleeps through the night never feed them in the middle of the night again - both of my boys stopped needing a bottle at 11-12 weeks and they have slept through the night since - other than being sick (which is very rare) or they can't find their paci Let people know you are having twins - join a local mother of multiples/twin mom group on fb.. Moms of multiples are very generous about handing things down to other twin/multiple moms because we know how expensive it can be. In our area we have a monthly meet up of twin moms and we have twin play dates - it's really a great community. You'll see! Good luck! You will do great!
