Healthy eating had gone out the window

I can't believe I am eating crappy already! This is my 4th and I know how hard it is to lose the weight, but I have given in already! Must get my mind right ASAP!

    It's all about moderation. Don't tell yourself you're not allowed to have the "treat" because you'll want it even more. And know there will be good days and not so good days. If you have a day that's full of more junk... Forgive yourself and decide you are going to make an effort to be more healthy the next day - knowing there will be other days in the future you'll endulge again.
  • I'm trying to be healthy during the week and have my splurges on the weekend.  That's how I rolled before pregnancy too.  I try to get a power food (lean protein, leafy greens, greek yogurt, fruits/veggies) in at least twice a day though.  But tonight I'm having pizza hut for dinner and on Friday I had a burger and a milkshake.  Until my doc tells me otherwise, I'm not giving up my weekend splurges.

  • I have an urge to eat a lot, but haven't ... yet. I'm not one for junk, just more. I'll get a milkshake in soon because past experience indicates that in two weeks I will unable to eat nor drink anything for months.

  • I am trying to eat healthy, but one of my food aversions seems to be vegetables and honestly....anything that isn't a carb. It's terrible. Finding something that sounds good is hard. At the begin of last week I was craving avocados and guacamole but now even that is turning my stomach.

    Yesterday the only thing that didn't make me want to throw up was carbs. It really bummed me out. And when my DH made brussle sprouts (usually my favorite vegetable ever) it smelled HORRIBLE. Made me so sad... I hope that doesn't last.
  • Unfortunately, I'm not eating a lot of fruits/veggies right now. But I'm not gorging myself on other food either. All in moderation. I keep telling myself that it gets better in 2nd Tri.
  • Because I'm not eating sushi, I'm enjoying teriyaki chicken probably a bit more than I should (at the mall, hibachi, etc.), which is generally healthy, but need to moderate more. I also enjoyed a cupcake yesterday.

  • I have to eat whatever sounds/smells/tastes good to keep my tummy happy. That often means carbs and sweets. Need.to.work.out.
