May 2016 Moms

7weeks pregnant now but today was lost baby due date:((

This is the most terrible feeling, I lost a baby in May at 6.5 weeks it stopped growing but I continued to have pregnancy symptoms and no bleeding. On week 11 (first appt) found out baby had stopped growing long ago and recommended an induced miscarriage. today 10/8 was my due date and I found out I'm pregnant two weeks ago. But now I don't have pregnancy symptoms I only have to pee a lot but other than that no one can even tell Or imagine I'm pregnant. I am 7 weeks today. Appt tomorrow for blood work only but I want to see that my baby is in fact growing

  • Stay strong. Maybe you could explain your situation and they could send you in

  • I completely understand your situation! We lost our twins at 10weeks 5days without any signs, only discovered on our 12 weeks ultrasound. We are now 9-10 weeks pregnant and every day is a mountain to climb. Some days I'm fine but others it consumes me. Definitely ask for extra ultrasounds. We are going every two weeks for our own piece of mind. I had to beg the doctor to allow it but in the end me being able to relax became the most important thing x
  • I lost a pregnancy at this time last year. Like, I found out about this pregnancy almost exactly a year after I found out about that one. At first I had difficulty even getting excited about this one (I also had a chemical earlier this year) but every week that progresses the more the celebration inside of me grows. It's not the same pregnancy, it won't be the same outcome.
  • I am in a similar position. Almost 9 weeks now, and I had a blighted ovum that was discovered in April when I was about 8 weeks (DD would have been 11-5-15). My symptoms have been really mild this time, but my OB assures me that everything is ok (US yesterday) and she keeps reminding me how lucky I am to have mild symptoms compared to other women with terrible MS, etc! Express to your doctor that you're feeling quite anxious about the situation, and they may allow for an earlier US! Sending you best wishes!!
  • I am so sorry for your loss.  I experienced a MMC last year - same circumstances are you, where I didn't know the baby had stopped growing until weeks after.  My due date was also my stepdaughter's mother's due date, which made it that much more difficult for me.  I luckily was on an amazing trip with MH and it helped to distract me but it is hard nonetheless.

Doctors are quite certain that my pregnancy this time is not viable either, but I'm going for another u/s next week before any decisions are made as to how to proceed.  It is very difficult and stressful and scary to go through, and I understand the need to see your baby's progress soon.  Please do your best to try not to stress or worry too much and good luck to you.

  • Very similar situation! Today has been bad for me.a little over a year ago I didn't know my baby had stopped growing until I finally got in to an ultrasound appointment. Now I'm pregnant again and I'm around the time the baby stopped growing.....i just want to KNOW that my baby is still okay! I'm constantly checking symptoms.... slight nausea.... less tired than i was last week... idk what will happen for either if us. But we'll take it as it comes and just try to keep breathing! I truly hope your little one is okay in there! And I'm so sorry for your loss.
