Itchy!!!

So I've been itchy pretty much since The start of my second trimester, and I mentioned it to my Dr. Way back then and he said oh it's nothing, I itch so bad that my skin bleeds (mainly on my back and chest) now just recently my feet also itchy so I mentioned it and was tested for cholestasis about 3 weeks ago, my results came back negative. Now I'm still itchy and I'm going to be tested again Tuesday. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

My feet are unbearably itchy! I think it is because of the swelling and the skin being tighter than normal. But I don't scratch until I bleed. Hope you find answers!!

My skin is a LOT drier than usual and it's caused me to itch. Try lotions (I use exzema types and it works well) or coconut oil. When push comes to shove a cold shower always helps me out too.

My skin is also drier and itchy. Not on my feet though. When you're pregnant the increased blood flow to the skin can cause dryness, or if you're lucky that beautiful glow! I have found that my elastic allergy has gone mental since becoming pregnant, especially due to maternity clothes containing a lot of elastic. Perhaps you have an elastic allergy too? Try not wearing socks or wearing non elastic socks hope the test results come back normal xxx

Cholestasis sometimes takes a bit to show up in lab work. I've had it in 4 pregnancies. With my second the itch started in my 2nd trimester but labs didn't come back elevated until I was 32w. Hopefully you get answers for your itch soon.
