Exercise check-in 10.8

Totally going to confess, I started this because I know I will for sure get my 1 hour of Zumba in today. I feel like I have been slacking all week.

I also got a 20 minute walk in during lunch today.

What have or will you do today? And, what helps you stay motivated?

  • I've been trying to make sure to walk 30 minutes -every- day, and also joined a Tuesday evening maternity yoga class. I HATE to excercise, but I NEED to work as long as pissible up until labor, so staying healthy is the best I can do to help make it happen.

    Plus, I am really scared of ballooning up into someone unrecognizable (like a few moms I've seen), so I'm really trying to keep myself in check and not use this as an excuse to totally pig out 24/7! Smaller meals with lots of snacking between.

    I really need to work on the smaller meals more often.

  • I did a living room aerobic/pilates mixed workout video today (while DS played with an obastale course we set up with couch cushions). I know that I feel better after I exercise and that it's good for the baby. I like the added bonus of setting a good example for DS too.
  • Having a hard time working out.  I normally love to but I just don't want to lately.  Since it is spring here DH and I are going on 30 min to 1 hour walks every evening after dinner. It's better than nothing... 
  • I'm having a tough time working out, too. I've been getting good workouts in over the weekends, then during the week I walk my dog for about 45 mins. Wednesdays I play in a competitive volleyball league that gets me a good workout.

    Baby 1: Stillborn at 27 weeks (April 2014)
    Baby 2: Due May 2016

  • Confession. I failed all week. Just too exhausted to do anything at all. Found going to work and staying awake whilst there  tough enough.  Well, no need to beat myself up about it. Next week is a new week!

  • Suggestion: this should be a weekly thread instead of daily.

    I did my cardio kickboxing class on Tuesday and it was wonderful. I plan on swimming laps today. My second job I am constantly walking/bending/moving so I guess I can count that 4-5 days a week.
