We are 34 weeks pregnant and are anxiously waiting for our little girl's arrival. I have lost weight through this whole pregnancy (i was fluffy to start) and the obvious concern is our baby girl's growth. So far all is good. So my question is, how are the shorties dealing with pregnancy? I feel like my appetite is super small because theres just no room in there. Anyone else feeling that way? I want to eat more but I get full so fast! Any ideas? I'm hypoglycemic so sugary high calorie options are out.
Re: Short girl problems
I also agree with the previous poster since your doc isn't comcerned, you shouldn't be! The baby will take what it needs!
Try to eat nutrient-dense foods (fruits, veggies, nuts, beans, lean meats) so that baby is getting plenty of vitamins and minerals from the small amount of food you are able to eat.
Try to munch on healthy foods throughout the day and make sure you're taking your prenatal.

If anything, ask your ob for tips!
Good luck!
Luckily this time I've barely gained. Last time I gained 75lbs and was so uncomfortable. It has t been as bad this time.
But small meals are the key for sure.
I wasted twelve bucks last week when a friend and I went to lunch at a buffet. If I had room in my stomach for more than a tiny bit of food it would have been worth it, but I barely ate a full plate of salad before I was full.
My biggest issue with food is that I love to eat but keep running out of room. I definitely still have an appetite, I just have eyes bigger than my stomach now.
Also sinks and top loading washing machines suck.
I've had a lot of trouble getting up from anywhere because baby is breech and shoved up under my ribs. The other thing is I've grown outwards so much that I barely have enough room to drive. Steering wheel almost grazes my belly and I can't push my seat back any more because then my feet won't reach.
5'4, and I never really considered myself short (although my 6'5 husband calls me 'shorty' :P ),but trying to pack the apartment with this huge bump is impossible! I can't bend over and reach the bottom of most boxes, and if I put them on a table instead of the floor, they're too tall for me to reach into. So I'm relegated to only packing non-breakable stuff, since I have to drop it into the box, LOL! I also can't get things off of higher shelves in the kitchen. I used to be able to get things if I got on my toes and stretched, but bump + counter means I can't get close enough for that to work! And DH yells at me when I try to hop up and sit on the counter. This kitchen wasn't built for short pregnant people!!! I need a step-stool....
