Bed rest Mammas

I?ve only been on bed rest since Friday since they admitted me to the hospital my drs told me I could go home on Monday if I stayed on bed rest but I find it hard to sleep at night. I tried to lay down on the couch for a little while yesterday to see if that would help. Does anyone else have this problem?

I was told I could get up to go to the bathroom, take a quick shower and get something to drink but she didn?t mention lunch/dinner. Does anyone sit at the dinner table for breakfast, lunch or dinner or do you eat in bed?

I feel bad I have a 2 year old son who keeps calling me to come to eat with him. So I was wondering what you guys do for the whole day to make time go by faster.

I was not allowed to sit up.  I ate on my side, but propped up.  I was allowed to go to the bathroom, take a quick shower, and go to the kitchen to get something to eat, but had to go straight back to laying down.

It is so hard, but bedrest can do wonderful things, hang in there.

I am not on strict bedrest so I can still cook dinner and eat at the table but I eat most of my meals on the couch anyway, it is more comfortable. I do have a lot of trouble getting comfortable in bed and can sleep easier on the couch but, I do what I can to sleep in the bed for now...lots of pillows.

Maybe you could allow your son to eat his lunch with you on the couch.

I had to be in bed only. I could go to the bathroom which is about 1 step from my bed, and I could have a quick shower. I could not sit down in a bath, could not cook or anything like that.  I had friends come visit me, a girl come to my house and give me a pedicure, that was awesome, watched a lot of Netflix, TV, Movies and read a lot of books. It was boring, but every day you keep those babies in there you will be grateful believe me!
