GTKY: What is your favorite thing about your SO?

Weeks/Fruit: 9 weeks! Green Olive according to The Bump

Appointments/Symptoms: I have my first official appointment tomorrow! (I had an US at 6 weeks already though.) I'm having all the same symptoms still-- nausea, cramping/RLP, off and on headaches, tender breasts, some moodiness and fatigue. Overall, this pregnancy seems easier so far than my last though. 

Rants/Raves: Yesterday I was tired after work, so DH cooked dinner-- he still wanted directions from me, so I got to take a seat with DS and boss DH around the kitchen : ) This rarely happens, but it worked out well and was a nice break for me.

GTKY: What is your favorite thing about your SO? He has a wonderful sense of humor and can be very caring at the same time.

Weeks/Fruit:  10,  Kumquat

Appointments/Symptoms:  Not until next Friday... forever away... I've been exhausted and nauseas and really moody.  I'm a peach lately, lol.  Last night I started getting weird sharpish pains on both sides of my stomach and got nervous - DH had to remind me that I'm 10 weeks and things are probably starting to grow.  It was like a reminder - holy crap, I am pregnant, and like, 2nd tri isn't all that far away.

Rants/Raves:  Just anxious for that appointment!  And work.  We're going through a lot of transitions in my office, and I'm "apparently" getting a promotion and hiring a staff person to work for me.  Which is great... but I feel like the timing couldn't be worse.  By the time this all gets approved and we hire someone, I am going to be taking off for leave.  The whole thing is driving me crazy. 

GTKY: What is your favorite thing about your SO?  He has the best personality.  He's the most positive person I know, but also, a total tough guy.  And, he has a shaved head.  I'm really into that, lol.

Weeks/Fruit: 7, blueberry

Appointments/Symptoms: Don't have my first appointment until next Thursday and the wait is killing me!  I just want someone to confirm this.  (Aside from the 20 HPTs and symptoms!)  I have had some moderate nausea at all hours of the day, but haven't gotten sick.  Tender breasts and cramping occasionally, too.  My mood has been pretty good overall, except when I'm nauseous.  

Rants/Raves:  Rant:  My first appointment next week at 8 weeks is just to "record my demographics and let me know what to expect in the coming months."  I want to SEE my baby!  It's looking like we won't get an ultrasound until week 20 unless we elect for the first trimester screening at week 12.   

Rave: We told my parents on Sunday and they are ecstatic!  I am an only child, so this will be their first grandbaby.  We will tell DH's parents when they come up to visit tomorrow!  I just feel kind of weird telling everyone when we haven't confirmed with an ultrasound.  

GTKY: What is your favorite thing about your SO?  I love his sense of humor and how he's just a really "good guy."  I am also LOVING how excited he is about this baby already.  He never gets emotional but he teared up a bit when we facetimed and told my parents.

Weeks/Fruit: 6/sweet pea

Appointments/Symptoms: my first appointment is 10/21 in 2 weeks. I can't wait. Mild nausea (if you could call it that), bloat, I'm more tired

Rants/Raves: most days I don't even feel pregnant. I just feel normal but more tired (could be because I started a second job).

GTKY: What is your favorite thing about your SO? I love that he is so different from me. We are complete opposites but it's a good thing.

Weeks/Fruit: 9 weeks/olive!

Appointments/Symptoms: 11 week appointment is on 10/21 and that's forever away. I've already had 3 US's so I can't complain too much, but it's driving me crazy because I have very little symptoms. I've had sore boobs up until now. I have had some headaches and bursts of tiredness, but nothing that I can't manage. My bloat is pretty much gone. I just don't feel pregnant at all.

Rants/Raves: Only rant I have is family related. SIL thinks giving my husband advice about babies (in which she is not a mother nor been around babies often) and how big of a responsibility they are and how they need a lot of diapers is enough to drive me up a wall. I have a 7 month old nephew who we have been very involved with since my sister was pregnant, so getting advice from her is like nails on a chalkboard.

GTKY: What is your favorite thing about your SO? He is literally the greatest. He has picked up the slack when I've fallen asleep on the couch at 8:30pm every night. He makes me laugh. Doesn't question my symptoms (or lack there of). He is genuinely the most caring and nicest man I know!

Weeks/Fruit: 7 weeks/Raspberry

Appointments/Symptoms: No appointment on the horizon. Hoping to get it scheduled around the end of October, but it may be the first part of November

Rants/Raves: The burping and dry heaving needs to stop. Other than that I got nothing I guess.

GTKY: What is your favorite thing about your SO? Right now how caring he is. He's being so helpful with everything, and really understanding.

Weeks/Fruit: 6wks -- sweet pea!

Appointments/Symptoms: Appointment today to talk to the RE about our most recent retrieval and also the transition to regular care. I've also requested a fourth beta draw to keep me sane until my ultrasound next week.

Rants/Raves: Rant: I'm so tired of all these anxiety dreams. I've been dreaming about Terrible Disasters that Only I Can Prevent and crap like that, and then last night I dreamt about getting into a fight with my husband and I was just sobbing in the dream... Woke up and my breath was doing that sobbing thing, but I wasn't actually crying. Very weird, especially since I know he'd never act the way he was in the dream (dismissing my concerns entirely).

Rave: We're going on vacation this weekend for my husband's birthday -- and my FIL/SMIL are coming along and planning to take DS for an entire day including bedtime! WOOHOO!

GTKY: What is your favorite thing about your SO? He's basically perfect, haha. He's an engineer who also loves doing art, so I can ask him to just build/make whatever random thing I decide I need/want, and he figures it out and makes it happen and makes it look good, too. He's also super patient and caring with me, too -- even when I'm a useless lump of a SAHM who can't get anything done around the house due to fatigue. I love him lots.

Appointments: upcoming 10/20; tho i've already established care filled out paperwork etc

Rant/rave: sick of feeling like crap, tired, nauseous, vomiting,cramps, tender breasts, emotional ups and downs, I'm over it!

Fav about SO: he's my sanity, he's been cooking me dinner, checking in to see if I need anything on his way home, being very thoughtful and encouraging!

Weeks/Fruit: 10/prune

Appointments/Symptoms: Had an appointment last Thursday, and I got to hear baby's heartbeat! 170, working hard. My next appointment is on Oct 19 for my first MFM specialist visit and NT screening ultrasound.

Rants/Raves: Bloat, tiredness, and breakouts are starting to make me feel really frumpy and just generally gross-looking.

GTKY: What is your favorite thing about your SO? He is one special dude. He has truly helped me become a better person. He's one of the most generous people I know. He also values efficiency, organization, and planning. And he is an adventurer at heart, which is awesome!

Weeks/Fruit: 8 weeks, raspberry

Appointment: No appointment yet.  It is on the 19th and will include an ultrasound.  Symptoms are mild, slight nausea and moodiness.

Rants/Raves: For my last pregnancy I had my first appointment at 6 weeks and was able to hear the heartbeat through a TV ultrasound.  I am having a hard time waiting until 10 weeks for this one.  I want to make sure he's really in there.

GTKY:  My DH has been dealing incredibly well with the hormones and is completely OK with the random tears and tantrums.

Appointments/Symptoms:
My first appointment is 10/14. I'll have an ultrasound, and I'm looking forward to seeing the little bean and hearing the heartbeat!

I've been having mild nausea about every other day and mild cramping. And serious bloating. The worst symptom has been boob tenderness.. Youch.

Rants/Raves:
Not much of a rant, but we haven't told anyone our news yet (with the exception of DH's boss so he could get off work for the Dr. appt), and I'm just about to burst!

Both sets of our parents/extended families live out of town, and we want to tell them in person. We're telling our parents this weekend.

GTKY: What is your favorite thing about your SO?
We're Christians, and I love that he always seeks the Lord in everything he does. He's very selfless!

Weeks/Fruit:  7/blueberry

Appointments/Symptoms:  I had my first ultrasound today!  Everything looks great, and we got to hear the little heartbeat.  Amazing...took my breath away.  

Rants/Raves:  The obvious rave is seeing the tiny little baby on the screen today.  I keep taking the photos out of my bag and looking at them.  I've accomplished nothing at work today.  

GTKY: What is your favorite thing about your SO?  He's funny.  So, so funny.  Of course, he's smart and sweet and successful and support and all of that.  But I really fell in love with the way he makes me laugh (even when I'm hormonal).

Weeks/Fruit: 8 / raspberry

Appointments/Symptoms:  I had my first appointment on 9/28.  Had an ultrasound and heard the heartbeat, and got a due date of 5/17 :-) I have been having terrible nausea most days, which I never had at all with my previous pregnancies. 

Rants/Raves: Rant: Nausea! I was definitely spoiled in that aspect with my other pregnancies.  Rave:  This pregnancy is definitely a surprise to both of us, but DH is really excited.

GTKY: What is your favorite thing about your SO?  He is a great dad

Appointments/Symptoms: Had first appointment last week...got to see and hear the heartbeat!
I feel sick pretty much all the time...bleh. And I'm exhausted.

Rants/Raves: Too tired to come up with anything...

GTKY: What is your favorite thing about your SO? He is super patient with me and my quirks.

Weeks/ fruit: just turned 7, so LO is now a blueberry!

Appointments/ symptoms: my appointment is on Monday (also DH bday!), I'm so anxious and excited for it! Symptoms: my poor boobs!!! Heartburn, nausea around meal time, and some major bloating.

Rants/raves: I'm getting bloated to the point where a couple of my pants are getting too uncomfortable to wear, even using the good old hair tie trick to give me some wiggle room. I've been staying good with what I'm eating (especially because LO seems to be a health freak. Anything fried or too heavy makes me sick). Raves: My kitten snuggled with me all night. She's turning into such a mush and I love it!

Favorite thing about you SO: my DH is the most compassionate person I've ever met. He's definitely one of a kind.
