I just wanting to know if any of you have kidney pains or stone and what is it that you did. I'm not sure if I should call my doctor or just go to the hospital?
I'd call your ob first. They can test your urine to see if it's a kidney infection in which case you would need antibiotics. I'm not sure what they'll do if it's a stone.
Oh my gosh, I'm so glad someone else is experiencing this. I woke up out of a deep sleep at 3 am because of kidney pain. I called my on all OB and explained it to them thoroughly and he told me it just sounded like back spasms, which, go figure, just another perk of having all your body parts expanding. He told me if I had a kidney infection I would have a fever and possibly be puking. He said to drink LOTS of water and nothing else for a few days, and warm baths. Always talk to your doc if you're worried, though!
This happened to me last week! I was in such excruciating pain, and I was sure it was kidney stones. Went in to see my doctor and it turned out to be muscle spasms and dehydration. It's so awful, but I'm glad it wasn't a stone or kidney infection. Hope it's nothing too serious for you either
Call your OB first. They may want you to come to L&D to have all the appropriate tests run. Urgent Care *not the ER) may be a better option for you if you need to be seen right away. How far along are you? Any time after 20 weeks they would want to see you in Labor and Delivery. UTI/Bladder issues (and kidney) can jumpstart pre-term labor-- so you want to let your OB know immediately. They will most likely try to see if you have stones to pass or another problem. I had kidney stones after I gave birth. They were excruciating. I can't imagine having that while pregnant.
I've been having back pain in my kidney area for a couple weeks. Urine tests all came back clean, but it sure seemed like kidney pain at first! Guess it's just muscle spasms! But it's probably a good idea to call your doctor.

Wishing you the best. I know that's painful.
