TTC After a Loss

TTC after MC in September, possible transfer in December 2015

My husband and I are planning on transferring again in Dec. as long as everything goes the way it should with AF in October & November, we've had one IVF round that blessed us with 8 ️embryos we transferred 1 with a fresh cycle that was a BFN after that we transferred 2 more in a FET with gave us our first BFP in 10 years of trying.... Sadly we lost our presious lovely frozen babies before my 6th week, so needless to say im very scared & worried that this will happen again we only have 5 frozen babies left and we plan to transfer 2 more again come 12/2015.... #1 I wanted to ask do you think we are waiting too long inbetween to transfer again? Reason being is my fear as well as trying to loose a few pounds RE said it would be helpful not necessary because he believes that our loss was due to lack of progesterone support for our babies. #2 I wanted to ask if any of you helpful ladies have any suggestions that I should do this time to keep my babies to stay with me? #3 how soon after transfer did any of you ladies start to bring your exercise routine back into your life? I'm thankful for any advise you ladies can give so thank you im advance!! :) XoXo

  • I may not have alot of experience to be giving advice but i'll tell you my story and my thoughts around your questions. My Husband and I did our first IVF end of May 2015 which blessed us with 5 embryos and the doctor transferred two, after a BFP and rising beta numbers we went for our first ultrasound and received the devastating news that our baby didn't have a heartbeat, I had to take a medication to start the miscarriage process and had to go to the maternity ward in the hospital to be given a rogain shot since my blood type is a neg and hubby's is a pos. Needless to say it was a hard go, the medication didn't work the first, second, third or fourth time I took it which means my miscarriage dragged on over a month and I missed a ton of work. My heart goes out to you and I understand how fearful and concerning the possibility of going through all that horribleness can be. That being said, my RE said that after two regular periods we could try again and he didn't appear to have any concerns with starting that early, which surprised me because I've read that you should wait 3-6 periods.  So I think that depending on AF you should be good to go in December, exciting times! #2 As far as keeping babies with you, I have the same experience you do so instead I'll share my prep. I've been going to acupuncture once a week, and will have acupuncture immediately before and after our next transfer (the end of this month, I'm on day 9 of our FET cycle). I've also been trying to include avocados, pineapple and raspberries into my weekly diet while limiting refined sugars. I've also been rubbing castor oil on my tummy every other day for 30 mins with a hot pad on top and lastly i've been keeping my feet warm! #3 my doctor and my naturopath both agree that i should be taking it 'easy' during the tww by going on brisk walks but nothing else, after the beta they said I can return to my regular routine! Thinking and praying everything works out for you! I recognize your name from when we were both going through IVF earlier this year. Very sorry things didn't work out, for either of us.
