I hate pants

I officially hate pants. Especially when I'm at work. We have to wear jeans and I haven't been able to find cheap maternity pants so I leave mine unbuttoned and use s stretchy belt. Idk about you guys, but for as much as I pee, pulling pants up and down gets me out of breath. Then trying to buckle a belt! Not to mention semi sticky legs from being hot and it makes my underwear roll so I have to pull them up separate. Really wishing I was pants less on my recliner right now. Dressing in general is just work any more it seems lol

Re: I hate pants

  • I feel your pain. I never ended up buying maternity work pants because all the ones I tried on looked like diaper butt. So I've been wearing my regular dress pants with a band. Well my dress pants are getting a little snug in the hip area. It's a little chilly in Michigan for skirts and dresses at the moment so I have no idea what I'm going to wear to work all week. I wish leggings were a viable option...

  • Pants are also too long to put on. Shorts are easier. I can't do the bending down to put them on routine much longer.
  • I got two pairs of jeans and hated them but I wore them when I could. I lived in leggings as long as I could before it was too hot in the summer. From there I lived in dresses.
  • My thighs don't know what jeans feel like anymore lol. I would lose my mind if I had to wear jeans right now. I feel ya girlfriend.
  • Hang in there! I don't think there's any way I could fit my sausage legs into my old jeans right now - so at least there's that for you!
  • I hate shirts and bras at this point. When at home I'm in a nursing sleep bra that is soft with a shirt that is normally pulled up cause my belly is so itchy. I can't even imagine jeans I've been living out of maternity leggings this whole pregnancy. Only 12 days left lol.
  • I am protesting pants. The only ones I will wear are yoga pants with the big band I pull over my belly lol. Dresses and skirts till the end! I think I can get away with my maxi dresses and skirts with cardigans for another 1-2 weeks.
  • All of this and more! I'm a freaking Oompa Loompa over here, short and wide, and my boobs change weekly. I'd go broke trying to keep up, though a couple pairs of regularly priced maternity jeans would bankrupt me, too. I've been Macgyver-ing through my wardrobe issues, but there is this 6' tall, gorgeous blonde with a bump across the hall from my office suite that is still rocking skinnies and heels. And I never see her in the bathroom the hundreds of times I'm in there. Is she not plagued by any of this??? Oops, off track - but I feel better.
  • Amen! Today is my due date and he is perfectly happy and seems to be staying put. I have been all leggings and long shirts for a few weeks!

Clothes are the worst. I'm 10 days from my due date and just cannot justify purchasing any other maternity clothes but nothing fits at all anymore! Leggings won't stay up because my bump is too low and my maternity shirts are no longer long enough to cover this giant thing!

This.... I'm dreading work tomorrow because I can't fit anything.
    :(
  • Yes! I probably tried on 30+ pairs of pants. I have two pairs of maternity work pants tht I like that's it! I also bought a pair of maternity skinny jeans, but they suck! They don't stay up, but unlike regular skinny jeans, I cant belt them up! I also agree with the whole pants are too long to put of piece.
  • Started mat leave last Thursday on my due date and not wearing pants is absolutely the best.thing.ever.

    Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker
  • I bought a few pairs of maternity jeans at a thrift store to wear to work, and in less than four months I've worn holes in the thighs from the constant rubbing. I wear yoga pants or no pants at all when I am home.

    First Time Mommy!

    Due Date: Oct 11th 2015

  • All true and if he says he loves them... Don't mind if I do!
  • So glad to know I'm not the only one! 39wks and 1 day and my clothes don't fit anymore and it's definitely crazy to buy anything else!

I swear my husband hid my shorts because they were getting too short on me and he didn't want me flashing people. LOL He complained whenever I would wear them.

I have to have my husband help me put pants/leggings/shorts on if I really want to wear them. Hell while I'm being honest....He has to help me put underwear on. I can't bend my right leg enough anymore.
  • H&M maternity has been my savior!!! I found these comfy pair of black pants/jeans/ leggings that are so comfy and look more put together since they are "black jeans" and have pockets- I'm sure my co workers are saying in their heads "didn't she wear those the other day?" I definitely plan on wearing them pp!!
  • I don't know what I would do if I had to wear "normal" clothes to work. Luckily I work in the operating room and wear scrubs. As I've gotten bigger throughout this pregnancy, I've just gone up a size in my scrub pants and top. Since I work in the OR, I just wear the ones the hospital supplies for the surgeons. I've been lucky as far as that goes. However, on the weekends, I'm in comfy shorts and a tank. I had to break out some jeans yesterday since its cooling off and it's been torture!! I totally agree with the whole peeing thing. Its such a hassle already, but trying to pull up these stupid jeans in a small stall....I break a sweat every time. Going to the bathroom is such an inconvenience!!

@tulegrl14 I'm walking around at home with my shirt pulled up too! I got sooooo itchy in the last two weeks! To make the look even cuter, I'm wearing my husband's sweat shorts that come down past my knees. Sexy.

I literally can't imagine putting on jeans and sitting all day! I had some cute maternity jeans from gap but since he's dropped even they are uncomfortable at the waist. Only good thing about it still being in the 90's here.

@Louisl I tell my husband are you sure you can handle all this sexiness at one time lol. I feel like I look like a hot mess, nothing fits anymore so I steal half his clothes.

    B-)
  • Ok no one has said so maybe I am the only one...I hate underwear too. Like really hate it. I know I have to wear it out in public but it's just an added layer when I am trying to go to the bathroom and when I am trying to sit and be comfortable. So my outfit of choice (at home) is no bra, no underwear, Cotten draw string shorts and an old button up of my husbands that I only button one button on and let my belly hang out. I will admit I have what looks like an old lady nightgown too. It's racer back and long so I can just slip it over my head and wear nothing under lol 11 days!!!
  • I'm there, too. Mainly because I can't justify buying all new underwear just got a few months, it's expensive! I got a bunch of mediums awhile back and I'm good for most of it but some styles ride. And a bra? Forget about it. I has an episode in a kohls fitting room when I was at my wits end with them, then came out of the stall to find a bunch of women staring, noticeable relived to see that I'm just pregnant. I've got a clearance set that doesn't suck so I'll do that when I have to, but others wise I'm a free girl!
  • So glad I'm not working! My full panel maternity capris won't stay over the bump anymore. I've totally flashed people the giant scary stretch-Mark covered belly pulling that dang panel up or I just walk around with the panel showing below my shirt. Too hot for jeans, and have one pair of shorts that fit in addition to the capris. Dresses work, and I rock the ugly sneakers with the dresses cuz the sandals just won't cut it anymore. I wish I could skip underwear but with the snissing and constant leakage I'm afraid I'd leave spots everywhere, lol.
  • I hate all clothing!!!! Especially bras panties and pants.... they're just so restricting and uncomfortable. I thank God everyday that I can work from home because I would literally die if I had to put on clothes and be around people for 7+ hours.
  • I wear DHs biggest sweater if I have to leave the house so the bottom of my belly doesn't hangout...
  • I didn't buy any maternity pants for work, rocking the unzipped-unbuttoned belly band for a couple months now. I did however order a couple maternity jeans and do like them but don't love them...im a leggings and boots girl for fall and winter wear. My deal is at the moment my calves/ankles/feet are too big for my boots :(( and I HATE wearing regular shoes....so that's my issue right now lol
