Calculating EDD

this is my first pregnancy and I don't have regular periods. I don't see my OB/GYN until the 19th. How do I calculate my EDD? My LMP was August 3rd and I took a HPT on 9/16 which was positive and said 1-2 weeks pregnant. Should I trust that timeline to calculate my EDD? Any help is very much appreciated.

If you were tracking ovulation then just add 38 weeks from the day you ovulated. If not then I'd wait till you doc does a scan and they can estimate how far along you are. Personally I wouldn't go by the home estimate cause hcg level vary person to person.

I found this little tool, which I thought useful because it allows you to calculate both by LMP and by the estimated date of conception (I was temping/charting, so I know when I ovulated and I have different dates depending on which way I calculate): https://www.babycenter.com/pregnancy-due-date-calculator

if your last period was at the beginning of August, you are prob looking at a May due date, unless you O'd VERY late.
