Pumpkin season!!

So this year I left the garden planting up to my dh. I let him do it unsupervised and I regret that decision now. For some reason he thinks u have to plant every seed in every packet. Well I had three different kinds of pumpkin seeds. I now have over 300 pumpkins and like a million gourds. I only wanted some for decoration and baking. I've made pies and breads and dips. Pumpkin butter is my next recipe. It's out of control

So anyone have and good ideas or recipes they'd like to share?

Also dh doesn't get to do the garden unless I am involved from now on. He just can't be trusted

Wow that's a lot of pumpkins lol no recipes that I know of but will definitely have to try the pumpkins butter!!

Ooooooo I want THAT problem! Mmmmmm!

Try pumpkin chocolate chip oatmeal cookies, pumpkin/squash ravioli, purée some for smoothies, and freeze purée for later use! I even saw a recipe through Pinterest of Pumpkin pasta noodles, haven't tried it yet though but I want to!

Maybe you can sell some pumpkins? We go to the pumpkin patch every October. My DS loves walking through and picking one. I'm excited to take DD this year for the first time .

If you are an adventurous eater, try making Kaddo! It's an afghan dish and sounds weird but is amazing! Here is a recipe.

I've made baby food already actually. I'm going to make another batch though. I made pumpkin French toast for supper tonight. It was pretty good.

@Handree I'm totally going to try Kadoo. My dh and I love middle eastern food. We lived in Iraq for a year for a deployment and loved the food. Thanks for posting that link!
