my Dh is an idiot

I am 4 days into my 2wk wait with TTC #2.
Tonight I had a glass of wine with dinner. He tells me "I'm sorry but you can't be pregnant, last time you couldn't stand alcohol and you just drank wine".
Really want to kick him.
Anyone else have a Dh who likes to have his own foot in his mouth?

    Argh. Cravings, turn-offs--ALL THE SYMPTOMS--can be totally different with each pregnancy. Not only frustrating, but just not founded in anything. So sorry.

    We missed my fertile window and a couple days ago I said my stomach hurt and DH said, "I know what it isn't."
    TTC#1 since Jan 2015
    BFP 2/19/15  •  MMC found at 9 wks  •  D&E at 11 wks (age 36)
    BFP 8/29/15      •  CP (age 37)
    BFP 11/18/15  •  DD born at 41 weeks <3(age 37/38)

    TTC#2 since May 2017
    BFP 10/18/17  •  MMC found at 8 wks  •  Misoprostal at 10.5 wks (age 39)
    BFP 2/16/18      •  CP (age 39)
    BFP 4/13/18      •  CP (age 39)
    BFP 5/07/18  •  MMC found at 10.5 wks  •  D&E at 11.5 wks      •  Testing showed it was a girl with Trisomy 22. (age 39/40)
    9/5/18 Diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve (4-5 follicles, one ovary had none and was very atrophied)
    RE says the low egg count is likely causing my recurrent pregnancy loss. Less eggs results in more aneuploidy.
    BFP 9/24/18  •      CP (age 40)
    BFP 5/11/19  •  Fraternal twins  •  MMC found at 10w5d (Baby A 6w, Baby B 10w)  •  Misoprostal at 11 weeks (age 41)

    @carrieandroy I'm so sorry. That is horrible. Why are men without a filter.
    @Sporty1216 thank you. I told him we can't judge one time. Especially since that time we were in our 2nd wk of our Jamaica trip and I was spending all day drinking rum. So it could've also been my body tired of all the alcohol.

    Oh, @carrieandroy. I'm so sorry. How did you respond? My DH last night, when I told him I felt hopeful, said just to make sure I didn't get "all elated" and then crash down if it didn't work out. I explained to him the difference between "elation" (something I have definitely NOT experienced since TTC this time) and "hope." And I told him if AF came, I would cry no matter what and then I'd pick myself up and be back on the hope train. He wasn't being mean. I think they just really, really don't get it sometimes.

    My DH jokes a lot -- we both do.  I usually find it funny and it lightens the mood when things get rough.  When I got pregnant the second time, he said "If you don't take care of this one, I'm not giving you another one."  We're totally warped.  But missing my fertile window because he wasn't feeling up to it, right after our second loss, was really frustrating.  So I wasn't in the best mood for his joke this time.  I let it go, though, because I'm usually fine with his sense of humor and I can't really tell him I'm not in the mood for it because I'm upset that his illness is interfering with me getting pregnant.

    That makes sense, @carrieandroy. You're a more self-controlled person than I am! Sometimes it really is worth it to bite your tongue in order to preserve the peace. I hope he can do a better job of sensing where you are emotionally from here on out, though. Hang in there!
