I am almost 100% sure that Susannah Jo will be this LO's name! There are so many different variants of spellings. What, in your opinion, is the BEST and easiest spelling. I would hate for her to have to tell people her entire life. Thank you!
Maybe loose the H? When I think Susanna, that's how I would spell it, and wouldn't even think it ended with an H. Is Jo a MN or will it all be one name? Very cute BTW.
My 2 year old is Susanna and we've never encountered another! LOVE it! Also, it's etymology is Hebrew and the biblical spelling as a result is without the 'h.' The name means lily. Love my baby girl's name! Great choice!!
Neither option seems wrong so if Susannah feels right to you, definitely go with your gut! She'll learn to say "Susannah with an h" pretty seamlessly, no worries!

Do you have a nick name you use? I love Susannah and I don't want to shorten it necessarily but I am a nick namer at heart so I am curious.
No nickname! It has such a lyrical sound that I find we didn't need one and I'm a nicknamer too haha. She can also say her name and spell most of it at 24 months, so no worries there.
Side note too, the doctor's office likes the spelling without the h because it differentiates her name apart from the myriad of Savannahs. No confusion there.
As to nicknames, my husband has a friend who is a Susanne Jr (not something you see often with girls names!). Her mom is Sue and she is Zanne, both of which would work for Susannah. Also, Susie, Suz, Anne, Anna
Re: Need help with "proper" spelling ...
But I think either s version is totally fine. Whichever you prefer
