Cold Nipples

So, I don't usually post - I just read the discussions, but I haven't really seen anything about ways to prevent or cover up stimulated nipples. Ever since having my first LO I feel like my nipples have been permanently hard and then they hurt when it's cold (which is what's coming now)... I know it probably has to do with the fact that they were both breastfed but it's driving me crazy that I can't do anything to cover it up, except wear huge t-shirts. I want to feel human again but if I try to wear blouses or even sweaters it's embarrassing. Any advice?

Re: Cold Nipples

  • I wear boob pads in all my bras and shirts. I've had Lansinoh, Medela and Nuk brand.. I prefer ones with adhesive spots so they stick to my bra or shirt. It does help hide the forever-cold look.

  • Ive had years of this, though this is my first pregnancy. They get so bad in the winter, but I have permanent headlights year round
