First scan- help!

Hi all, I went for my first scan today (thinking I was 6 weeks) the scan woman said she couldn't see no fetal pole just a yolk sac that measured 6.5mm. She said it was too early to see anything yet as I am actually under 6 weeks. She said everything is fine and growing in the right places! But she wants to see me in 10 days, why?! When she said everything is ok! A bit worried!! Xx

I had a scan yesterday and saw just a gestational sac. I go back a week from tomorrow to hopefully see at least a yolk sac, and then again 10 days after that to hopefully see a heartbeat. I didn't have scans this early with DD and they're making me way more anxious than I was without them. It's great that they saw a yolk sac! That fetal pole will be there next time!

I'm not a doctor but, it's not unusual to not see much at 6 weeks, but it's routine to have an 8 week scan. Then you'll bee able to see a lot more including the heartbeat.

What @mamadown said. They'll want to confirm with a heartbeat. That is all. If you don't want to go then don't.
