Can we revive this thread please? We moved here almost 2 years ago. We're from Minnesota and DS and DD had the most amazing pediatrician there. Unfortunately she was unwilling to move with us.
Fast forward to now. We found a pediatrician in North Austin that we originally really liked. However, the more we see her, the more she rubs me the wrong way. She doesn't seem to take a genuine concern into mine and DH's concerns and you certainly can't get a word in because she doesn't stop talking.
We've got another set of twins on the way, due at the end of the summer. I can't keep taking the kids to her. Plus, TBH, I'm not a huge fan of the ARC clinic near us since it's way too tiny.
@UnwritteN12, my husband and I like Dr Bayer at Austin Pediatric Clinic. The office is located on 38th between Guad and Lamar. Both he and Dr Louis were highly recommended by both hospital pediatricians who saw our LO before we were discharged from St David's- Main. We had to see a dermatologist at 5 days old and the derm sang the praises of Drs Bayer and Louis.
Dr Bayer is patient, compassionate, humorous, and he dotes on my baby. The front office staff and nurses are friendly, attentive, and understanding. The practice follows WHO & AAP guidelines.
I know I'm late to the party but I hope someone finds this info helpful.
We love Dr. Evelyn Spencer @ Jollyville Pediatrics off 183 North on Jollyville Rd. She's amazing, she listens to your concerns and genuinely cares about the children. She's an absolute heaven sent. She wss recommended to us from our friend when we moved here last year.
