I am 39+2 and have had such a rough pregnancy. My hypermesis has come back and I've been trying my best to manage it at home before going to the hospital. It is very tough just to stay hydrated. Has anyone asked to be induced at 40 weeks (my due date is sunday, Oct 4th) or has your doctor recommended it to you? I have an appt tmrw morning and I am going to pick my Dr's brain!! Thanks in advance ladies
I've had hyperemesis as well my entire pregnancy but am on medication. When I take it I'm fine. Even one day off and I'm sick, sick, sick again (tried it yesterday and I'm 35 w 5 days.
I have hyperemesis, but I'm on medication as well. There is no way I ever would have made it without it. My doctor hasn't mentioned anything about induction because of it, though.
I Had hypermesis with all three pregnancies. It is the worst!! I was induced with my first two babies at 41 weeks and 40 weeks. Let me tell you, within minutes of giving birth, I felt like a normal person again. That horrible feeling in my stomach, and taste in my mouth went away! I am hoping to be induced at 40 again if this one doesn't come on her own because the nausea and vomiting has come back for me as well and I am back on the meds. Good luck!!
Re: Induction due to hyperemesis?
Rather than induction would this be a solution?
