I love these responses as well. There's a variety you can choose from, depending on the person asking and your mood.

Let me start off by saying I love this post. I agree 100% that when and how my DH and I start a family is no ones business than our own. That said when people ask questions I know it is out of curiosity and not malicious intent. They ask because they want to be a part of our lives and know what is going on. They ask because they want us to be happy and they want to help. When DH and I started this journey we didn't tell anyone. We didn't want to come off rude so we fielded questions with nonspecific answers like "we'll just wait and see" and "when the time is right". It became more and more painful for the topic to be continuously brought up and we finally made the decision to let our family and friends in. They became a part of our journey. They provide support and allow us to share information on our own terms when we wish.
When we finally just gave purple the honest answer we pretty much eliminated the rude prying question from our lives.
