Baby poop help ! (Tmi pic included )

so the last couple days baby boy has had green poop . I've cut out dairy and I've been breastfeeding and bottle feeding breast milk to make sure he's getting the hind milk. He's been very irratible straining to poop and when he goes he only puts out a quarter size amount .

I just a changed his diaper and of course while changing he pooped for me - this time almost straight liquid green poop .

Called the dr. Nurse wasn't very helpful . Told me if I was concerned with his weight - which I'm not I could come it . She also told me he could be colicky - which he's not and that I'm doing to much work pumping and breastfeeding ... Ugh ! No help

Anyone have any insight ? Is this normal ? I hate seeing my baby grunt and squirm in discomfort .

Glad I'm not the only one who has a child that sharts all the time. That's exactly what my boys poop looks like and I was worried about it so I'm glad he's not the only one

My little man sharts ALL THE TIME!!! Such a waste of a diaper lol but that poop looks normal to me. I wouldn't worry

Looks normal. If it were a fore milk/hind milk thing it would be truly green, like spinach-y.

That looks normal and we brought a diaper that looks like that into Dr today because I was nervous

I don't know.  I breastfed both of mine and it never was green like that.

Was your baby jaundice at all? Mine was and the nurses all told me that as the jaundice cleared out of his system his poops would be green

Ours has been green and liquidy for the majority of his pops he is one week old and 2 days today and the last day or so it has been yellow no jaundice and he's been only breast fed

Wow. Everything has a name! Well then, my baby shart with every pee pee.
And the poop looks normal to me.

Green poop, especially of it is slimy, can be a sign of a soy or dairy intolerance. My daughter had mspi (milk soy proton intolerance) and her poops were green and had a slimyness to them. You can google mspi and see if your sons symptoms match up. My daughter (now 2 and still mapi) never failed to gain weight (the indicator most Drs loom for) so they missed it.
If it is mspi remember that just cutting obvious dairy probably won't be enough, it's in a ton of foods! Good luck!
