For those of you who are starting a new week of pregnancy today:
Week/fruit:
Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment:
How are you feeling (rants/raves)?
GTKY: How is your SO doing this early in the pregnancy (all over your every need, nervous, in disbelief, etc?)
Re: Monday Ticker Change 9/28
Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment: My 1st appointment isn't until 10/14, 16 more days to go!
How are you feeling (rants/raves)? I'm still feeling pretty good. I definitely have my moments though. Still no nausea yet, but I have been having some pretty bad cramping about once a day. Also fatigue, sore boobs, and so much bloating.
GTKY: How is your SO doing this early in the pregnancy (all over your every need, nervous, in disbelief, etc?) DH is very excited and will do anything I ask him to (I'm trying not to take advantage too much lol). He is great! However he does not want to hear about my fears of labor and delivery, he tells me to think positive, honestly I think he doesn't want me to get too worked up.
Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment: My first appointment is on 10/5. They said it is an "information session"- I'm not sure what that means.
How are you feeling (rants/raves)? I feel ok. Nausea is not too bad at all. I'm tired, but I feel like I'm always tired anyways. I'm nervous but excited and having a hard time reigning in my anxiety.
GTKY: How is your SO doing this early in the pregnancy (all over your every need, nervous, in disbelief, etc?) He seems fine. We had a loss in May and I think he is just trying to go into this as optimistic as he can. He has been incredibly sweet, though. I think he gets how stressful these next few weeks are going to be.
Make a pregnancy ticker
Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment: First appointment was on 9/22. Did basic bloodwork, initial exams, etc. No ultrasound until 20 weeks!
How are you feeling (rants/raves)? Ugh-- morning sickness and exhaustion. Midwife had recommended B6/Unisom combo, which was working. Didn't take the unisom last night so that DH could wake me up for the eclipse and I feel really sick this morning. Won't make that mistake again!
GTKY: How is your SO doing this early in the pregnancy (all over your every need, nervous, in disbelief, etc?) He's excited and has been very supportive. Picking up all of the slack when I'm feeling like crap.
Week/Fruit: 5 weeks, Appleseed
Appointments: First appointment is on Oct 7th. This is mainly an informational appt. They take my vitals and send me for a blood draw. They also talk about genetic screening tests. Other than that, they give me a folder with all sorts of information that relates to pregnancy.
How are you feeling: Decent. I always start the day ok, but the later it gets, the more exhausted I am. My skin is breaking out like crazy which is annoying. I had a bout of nausea Saturday morning. It lasted about an hour. (The more I'm typing the less "decent" this is seeming...lol). I know every pregnancy is different, but I feel like it's pretty early for me to be nauseous. With my girls it was always closer to late in the 6th week/early 7th week.
GTKY: He is doing pretty good. There are times when he checks in on me to make sure I'm eating and feeling well, but then sometimes I think he forgets just how much fatigue there is.
Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment: had a walk-in on Friday. It went well, got an U/S picture but no heartbeat. Still too early for that. Follow up on Monday next week - I think 7 weeks is still too early for a heartbeat though
How are you feeling (rants/raves)? I went in Friday because I was bleeding and I wanted to make sure everything was okay. I wasn't too panicked but I didn't want to take the chance either. But they gave me rhogam Friday and I'll get it again at 28 weeks. Yay shots in the butt! But I barely felt it. Otherwise I get carsick now when I never used to and I'm bloated all the time. Also - boobs have grown 2.5 cup sizes seemingly overnight. Had to get new bras. They're very sore.
GTKY: How is your SO doing this early in the pregnancy (all over your every need, nervous, in disbelief, etc?) DH has been great, and really excited. More so than I actually anticipated which has been an awesome surprise. He has been attentive, supportive and understanding - picking up on household chores and whatnot because he wants to make sure I don't feel obligated.
Edit: because words are hard.
When is your next appointment: My first appointment and ultrasound is in a week! Next Monday! I can't believe it's come so quickly!
How are you feeling (rants/raves)? I'm feeling okay. Morning queasiness has set it, but thankfully I'm not throwing up. I'm definitely feeling more hungry and I need to make sure I eat right when I get that hunger feeling. Water is my friend. Overall, my energy has not lessened yet! I'm definitely bloated and rocking a blump.
GTKY: How is your SO doing this early in the pregnancy? He told me a couple weeks ago that it's hard for him to connect with this pregnancy until he sees the baby at the ultrasound. I can relate to that.
Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment: Had my first ultrasound on Thursday and I have another one on Friday.
How are you feeling (rants/raves)? I've been nauseous for weeks, but today it's getting worse. Haven't been able to eat much more than a couple grapes and almost threw up a couple times.
GTKY: How is your SO doing this early in the pregnancy (all over your every need, nervous, in disbelief, etc?) We've had MCs so he's extra protective. I'm not allowed to do anything! Lol.
Next appointment: Not until October 19th. Time is going very slowly, and I just want to know everything's okay so I feel a little crazy.
Feeling: I've been nauseous on and off, but not anything specific yet. Yesterday I was at a housewarming party and pretty much all I ate was celery.
GTKY: DH is being really cautious. This is our first pregnancy, but he still says "probably pregnant" (7 positive pregnancy tests later) and is waiting until the doctor's appointment to get excited. I probably should too, but I can't help myself.
Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment: My first appointment is tomorrow! I'm so excited/nervous
How are you feeling (rants/raves)? I feel like crap! All day nausea (thankfully, no vomiting), severe food aversions and sensitivity to smell, exhaustion, body aches. I'm having a pretty rough time staying positive, just trying to get through the next few weeks.
GTKY: How is your SO doing this early in the pregnancy (all over your every need, nervous, in disbelief, etc?) He has been good and pretty understanding of the me not wanting to do anything other than sleep right now. I do wish he would help me out in some ways, I keep begging him to help clean the house up, and he never does. But overall, he has been great, and he is super, super excited!
Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment: I had blood taken on Friday ( always hate that!). My first apt with my OB isn't until 10/26. I will be 9 weeks then.
How are you feeling (rants/raves)? I'm feeling ok for the most part. Starting to have random food aversions like I did during my 1st pregnancy.
GTKY: How is your SO doing this early in the pregnancy (all over your every need, nervous, in disbelief, etc?) DH is so excited for baby #2! He is always making sure I'm feeling ok and helping out even more than he already does!
--8 weeks/raspberry
Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment?
--1st appt is Monday, October 5th. Can't wait!
How are you feeling (rants/raves)?
--I'm so over the nausea. It's overwhelming how long it lasts through out the day.
GTKY: How is your SO doing this early in the pregnancy (all over your every need, nervous, in disbelief, etc?)
--DH is wonderful. Since this is baby #2 the biggest help he can give right now is with DD. He helps change her diapers, gives her a bath and lets me nap whenever I can. He is very excited to add a new addition to our family.
