  • Umm I started to experience this sort of pain but only when I reached my sixth month and attribute it to the extra weight. Yeah you prob fine .... Eat bananas and do some stretching. Potassium helps with Charlie Horses.
  • Maybe sciatica??? I also find when laying in side putting a pillow between my legs takes pressure of my hips and bottom and is more comfy.. Worth a shot!
  • I have this! It's a dull pain that comes with numbness and tingling on my left butt cheek and the space above and below. More annoying than painful for me. It's related to Sciatica. I try to just keep my left leg bent when I'm lying down so there isn't so much pressure on that side. And when I sleep I force myself to sleep on my side.
  • I've had this too, on and off for weeks now. (I'm 18 weeks today.) I've found when I'm more active in general, as simple as a little walk a couple times a day, it doesn't bother me nearly as much.
  • Most likely sciatic pain.  It can be shooting and sharp or dull and achy.  Definitely an ouch factor when I roll over at night or put too much weight on that leg.  I second the chiropractor visit.  You'll be amazed.
  • Look up pevic girdle pain. I thought mine was sciatica but it describes what the pain is perfectly. Mine started at 13 weeks and at 16 weeks is already terrible, so if this is what you're feeling I feel for you

Chiropractor would help. I've even heard that adjustments during pregnancy help for an easier labor, but I'm not sure that can be proven.

Actually I do! I'm 12 weeks today. I started to get pain at 11 weeks. It started off as a pain in my lower back then moved to my left bottom cheek. Then strange enough it moved up to my neck! I've been told so many things from people who "know everything" (smh). But I decided to go and do my own thing and get a light soft tissue massage from a professional. It was expensive but actually, it was worth it! I haven't had pain and I'm pretty happy about that.
