Does 4Moms Rockaroo make noise?

We just set up the rockaroo and the motor makes noise with every rock - not anything too bad, just sounds like the motor is working hard to get the job done. Anyone know if this is how it works or if it sounds like we got a faulty one? I don't remember hearing it in the store, but it may have just been too noisy in there. Thanks in advance!

I set mine up and it doesn't make any noise, it's almost silent.

The only noise mine makes is the type u pick . Little guy loves the heartbeat feature.

Mine does not make any make any unwanted noise. I'd probably take yours back.

When I first got mine it didn't make any noise and suddenly is started an annoying squeak. I contacted the company and they had me try some things which didn't work. So they sent me a new base.
